Volleyball

The S2/3 boys volleyball team travelled to Craigmount High School in Edinburgh to play in the Scottish Boys Volleyball Cup. The boys showed some excellent team spirit, determination and good all round skills to win the game 25-21 in the first set and 25-14 in the second set.

The senior girls also played in the Scottish Cup in a home match against Woodfarm High School. The girls won the first set, but unfortunately lost 2 sets to 1.

NASSA Badminton

The Gordon Schools finished 3rd place in the NASSA badminton tournament held at Meldrum. During the tournament pupils were given the chance to play with and chat to retired badminton champion Susan Egalstaff. Susan Egelstaff first represented Scotland in 2000, and went on to become the highest ranked female badminton athlete in the UK. She won Team Bronze at the Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games, took Women’s Singles Bronze four years later in Melbourne and represented Team GB at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
